I think that the media in general has us mislead, but more so in the entertainment sector.

As a dumb American, I was lead to believe that every window in Paris has a view of the Eiffel tower.  This is obviously false.

Well at best only 2 windows of a house would be able to see it, and more than likely just one. And what says that all of Paris can see it anyways?

But assuming that geographically it is doable, still just one would face it, but it is possible depending on angles, and facing that two windows could have a view of the Eiffel tower.
