Something I noticed that is unique to Hollywood are those breaking news bulletins that effect the person at exactly the same time it is aired.

I mean, for a news flash to affect a person is amazing, but to also have that affect come into play at the same time the news is aired and the story is read is beyond.

The idea is absurd, but people always seem to be taken by it. It would be like getting a call your kid was in a fatal accident and hearing the reporter say it on TV at the exact same time. Its not too likely is it?
