Ok, so what about the guys that play the villains on a James Bond type level of the game?

I am referring to how those super powerful bad guys choose to kill their enemies. What is that about that? Why the ultra sophisticated method of murder?

Is it a show of bravado? A way to impress the minions maybe… Maybe they are supremely wealthy, and build these things to spend money that would otherwise rot.. But then again Minions cant be cheap either.

So then it might be an ego thing, somethng to brag about to other super villains at the super villain pub. “Well, I had dispatched SuperheroX by building a massive robot with super intense lasers that shot out the platform he was on and dropped him into a tank of 30 foot long and starving man eating sharks. I then put what was left into acid.”

Yeah, or maybe they are being frugal and dont wanna pay for a bullet.
