Way back when I was working in environmental compliance for the city, we often had web conferences about standards and new regulations. We were frequently working with people on a national level, because we were not only in charge of regulating our city, but the entire state. It is pretty hard to get people in several different cities to all sit down at one table, so we had web meetings quite often. It made it so much easier. We used applications that allowed us to connect our computers, so that we could all look at the same files, or send files to each other almost instantly.

There were times when we even took classes this way, web seminars are an awesome tool for a company who needs to be up to date on the latest info on your trade. Now a days web conferencing has become common place. With so many businesses branching out in other areas of the country, or even the world. The ease of just being able to open your laptop and have the people you need to speak with at your finger tips has done wonders for businesses and schools alike. It is amazing what a huge difference web conference software has made in our every day lives.
